BIG AUTOWORLD is a leading authorised distributor of Suzuki automobiles in the Kingdom of Bahrain. BIG AUTOWORLD had commenced its operations in February 2024, with the showroom located at Zinj and the service center and parts outlet at Riffa Al Buhair in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The evolution of a global leader

Tracing its origins to the modest shop within the enclave of the Muttrah Souk in Oman in 1965, the Bahwan International Group today reflects a rich heritage of entrepreneurship and a remarkable journey of growth and success. It was within these humble beginnings that two visionary brothers embarked on their business journey, engaging in the trade of building materials and fishing nets, forging the foundation for the group's enduring legacy of integrity, commitment, and excellence.

Today, the Bahwan International Group is a multibillion-dollar conglomerate that boasts a network of over 45 companies, employing over 2,000 professionals across the Gulf region, North Africa, and South Asia.

Partnership with Toshiba and Seiko

Inspired by the maritime customs of the era, our company set sail on trading expeditions to Western India and the Upper Gulf, starting from our hometown, Sur, an eastern seaport in Oman. These ambitious ventures quickly evolved into valuable trading partnerships with internationally acclaimed companies, starting with Toshiba and Seiko in 1968-69.

1970 and beyond

The year 1970 marked a transformative milestone for Oman, ushering in an era of global connectivity and fueling a surge in demand for both industrial and consumer products. During this pivotal period, we successfully acquired prestigious franchises from prominent international manufacturers and service providers.
